- Horace Deets -
Chairman of the Board
Horace
served as Executive Director of AARP from 1988 to 2001 and designed
and implemented a major expansion in the products and services offered
to AARP members. He currently serves as the Chair of the Board
of Help Age International, is a Research Associate at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology’s Age Lab and a Visiting Research Fellow at
Oxford University’s Institute of Ageing, and serves on the Board
of Posit Science Corporation.

- Chief Executive Officer and President
Steve
has over twenty-five years of experience in the development and management
of products and services for the elder population. Prior to Longevity
Alliance Steve was the founding President and CEO of AARP Services,
Inc. At AARP Services he was responsible for creating and developing
partnerships with companies including The Hartford, United HealthCare,
New York Life, MetLife and Scudder. Previously, Steve was General
Counsel of AARP. Steve has a BA in economics from Brown University
and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
- Joseph T. Chadwick,
Jr. - Investment Director
Joe has
over 35 years of experience in investment consulting and financial services
marketing. He began his career with T. Rowe Price and was Executive
Vice President and Treasurer of T. Rowe Price Marketing, Inc.
He was a Vice President of the Vanguard Group heading sales and client
services for college and university retirement plans and handled major
401(k) and pension clients. While with Mercer, Joe was a consultant
to AARP on the fixed annuity program and the investment policy of the
health insurance reserves. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Johns
Hopkins University Carey School of Business, teaching Business Strategy
in the MBA Program.

- Chief Financial Officer
John
is a senior financial executive with a deep experience in financial
services. He was most recently the Chief Financial Officer for
the New York Insurance Department’s Liquidation Bureau with broad
finance and operating responsibilities. Previously, he was the
CFO for ING International Insurance Holdings which was a complex international
insurance operation. Earlier in his career he was a tax lawyer
with AIG for eight years.
- Ken Gromacki -
Director of Sales Operations
Ken
has developed over twenty-five years of expertise in the sales and delivery
of retirement oriented financial products to large groups and employers.
Prior to Longevity, Ken spent eleven years with ICMA Retirement Corporation
where he directed national field sales operations and new business acquisition
strategies on behalf of county, city and municipal employers.
Before that he directed sales at Co-America Bank and The Holden Group.
